Everyone needs a sidekick!

Find yours on Saturday, August 2, at the monthly Bandera County Pet Adoption, held from 9 am until 2 pm, at the animal control impound facility on Highway 16 North. A nominal adoption fee applies and rabies vaccinations will be administered on-site. State statutes require adopted pets to be spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption. Proof of the procedure must be returned to AC Community Liaison Becky Bradford. For more information, call 830-796-4075. Additionally, low-cost spay and neuters procedures for companion animals are available at the Hill Country Animal League in Boerne. To schedule an appointment, call 830-249-2341. Since Sherry McCullough adopted "oldie, but goodie" Suzy Q three years ago from BC Animal Control, the pair has been inseparable. For a preview of your next "sidekick," checkout the new website at www.banderacountyac.org, and, remember: "Adopt, don't shop."
