What's new at the library

By John Hegemeier Library director

The Bandera public library has carved out a section of the library to shelve their expanding collection of adult graphic novels. The collection is housed next to the Bandera Music Hall of Fame jukebox.
We have recently made significant additions to the collection including works by Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Jeff Smith, Art Spiegelman and many others.
In recent years graphic novels have gained in popularity and critical credibility for their compelling stories, original art and mature themes. Stop by and check out this new, vibrant collection.
The Bandera library is now a registered charity with AmazonSmile, the charitable portal to Amazon.com. AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way to support the Bandera Public Library, at no additional cost to you! AmazonSmile will give 0.5 percent of a shopper's eligible purchase total to the Bandera library, with no cap on donations.
AmazonSmile has the same products, prices, and service that shoppers find at Amazon. Shoppers may use the same account on Amazon and AmazonSmile; their shopping cart, Wish List, registries, and other account settings are also the same.
Go to smile.amazon.com, select the Bandera Public Library Corporation as your charitable organization and then every purchase you make will result in more funding for the library.
