The University Interscholastic League has assigned Bandera ISD to Division 1, Region IV District 14. The UIL District 14 Committee sets regulations for student participation, referee regulations and ticket prices.
Due to UIL's expansion to four required referees in a number of sports, some ticket prices have been readjusted to cover these new game expenses. Bandera ISD gate proceeds from home athletic events are used to cover these new expenses.
Even though game costs have risen, individual and reserve ticket prices for BISD athletic events will remain the same as they were in 2013-2014. General admission for varsity football games in 2014-2015 has been set at $6. Reserved seats for varsity football games will be $8. Reserve seating will go on sale at the Central Office on Monday, July 7. General ticket prices for all other sports will be $4 for adults and $3 for students.
The BISD All Sports Pass will be available for $75 for the initial member and $25 for each family member up to nine passes (limit of 10 passes per family). These passes will still be good for general admission to varsity, junior varsity, freshman and middle school home athletic events, but will exclude all varsity football games and all playoff games.
The All Sports Pass is a great value. For a family of four, the All Sports Pass guarantees access to over 100 Bandera ISD home athletic events at a significant savings. Reserve tickets and All Sports Passes will only be available for purchase through the Bandera ISD Central Administration Office on Pecan Street in Bandera.
New this year in District 14, the Gold Card will also admit senior patrons to away games as well as home athletic events. Bandera ISD offers a free Gold Card to all patrons of Bandera County who are age 65 or older.
Gold Card membership benefits include free general admission to all district athletic events, excluding playoff games. Membership benefits also include free admission to most Bandera ISD cultural events such as plays, musicals and concerts in all Bandera schools with the exception of fundraising events such as dinners. Gold Cards may only be obtained at the BISD Central Administration Office on Pecan Street in Bandera.
