Sit. Stay. Adopt!
Spearheaded by County Attorney Janna Lindig and Community Liaison Becky Bradford, Bandera County's monthly pet adoption will be held from 9 am until 2 pm, Saturday, April 5, at the Bandera County Animal Control Facility on Highway 16 North. A nominal adoption fee applies and rabies vaccinations will be administered on-site. State statutes require adopted pets to be spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption and proof of the sterilization must be returned to Bradford. Low-cost spay and neuters procedures for companion animals are available at the Hill Country Animal League in Boerne. To schedule an appointment, call 830-249-2341. Remember, adopt, don't shop.
