Woodmen present flags to BISD schools

Woodmen of the World President Arnold Harst, far right, presents a check for $250 to BISD Superintendent Regina Howell for technology at Alkek Elementary during the February regular meeting of the BISD School Board. The Woodmen of the World also presented new American flags to each BISD campus. Woodmen of the World has donated more than two million American flags to worthy non-profits and community organizations through the years. The company is a fraternal insurance company founded in Omaha in 1890. It prides itself on its family, community and patriotic programs.
