Sharpen your palates!
The 27th annual Grace Lutheran Church Wild Game Dinner will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, in the show barn at Mansfield Park off Highway 16 North. Dinner will be served from 4 pm to 7 pm. As always, this year's menu features a variety of locally harvested wild game, including white-tail, axis and fallow deer; javelina and wild hog; quail; blackbuck antelope; and several different types of chili. Dine-in and take-out is available. Donations are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages five to 12 years of age. Advance tickets are available at the church office, 451 Highway 173 North, or at the door. In conjunction with the Wild Game Dinner, a gun raffle will be held; tickets are $10 each. Anyone who purchases 10 tickets will receive a free ticket. For more information on this delicious fundraiser, call the church office at 830-796-3091 or visit gracebandera.org. In this 2013 photo, Rhonda Balsley and Pat Moehring did their volunteer thing by breading the wild game meat for the fry daddies. Don't miss this dinner; it's some good eatin'!
