Eat a taco to support stock show

Staff, officers and volunteers with the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Breakfast Taco Sale from 6 am to 10 am, Friday, Jan. 10, in front of the Bandera County Courthouse. The Chamber Board of Directors will prepare combined sausage, potato and egg tacos and coffee, which will be available for donations.
All profits will be used to purchase animals at the Bandera County Junior Livestock Association's sale on Saturday, Jan. 11.
The Chamber challenges everyone in Bandera - especially business leaders and those involved in the stock show and sale - to come out and support this fundraiser.
"If each of these people just bought one taco for one dollar, we'd be able to reach our goal of exceeding our 2013 donation," said Chamber President Richard Berry. "We also encourage larger businesses to treat their employees to breakfast on Friday. If people call us in advance, we'll make sure their orders are ready to go when they pick them up."
According to reports, the tasty fundraiser will take place "no matter what" - rain or shine, sleet or snow. As everyone is aware, "giving back to the community is important to the Chamber."

For more information or to place advance orders for breakfast tacos, call the Chamber of Commerce at 830-796-3280.
