Child care leadership academy set

The third annual Hill Country Child Care Directors Leadership Academy will be held on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at St. Mark's Presbyterian Church in Boerne. The conference will be held in the Family Life Center.
This year the theme will be "Our Team Bucket List." The keynote speaker is Angie F. Reinford, an Early Childhood Trainer/Consultant. "This session will inspire directors to create greater positive, productive work environments as they juggle responsibilities such as dealing with difficult employees, implementing policies and procedure while pursing greater vision and goals for their program. We will look at the power of positive energy and how negativity stifles growth," Reinford said.
Registration begins at 8:45 am. Director clock hours will be awarded for participants that come to the conference. Registration cost is $45 if postmarked by Jan. 31, 2014 and $60 if postmarked after the date. The registration fee includes lunch, refreshments, seven clock hours training credit and workshop materials. We will also be awarding 7 CEUs at an additional cost of $10.
