Grief group meets Monday
For bereaved parents the holidays can be very difficult. The Hill Country Chapter of The Compassionate Friends invites families grieving the death of a child to the Monday, Oct. 28, meeting to share ways to handle the holidays.
Meg Scott-Johnson, a bereaved parent and a professional counselor, will lead the discussion.
The Compassionate Friends is an international self-help organization that supports families who have had a child die from any age and any cause. The death may be recent or long ago.
The Hill Country Chapter meets the fourth Monday of the month at First United Methodist Church Education Building, 321 Thompson Drive, Kerrville, from 6:30- 8 pm.
