Medina's 'Big Apple' is back

With the help of a crane, Reese Alexander positions the huge Medina Apple, allowing it to be safely lifted back on its base, located just off Highway 16 North in Medina. The night of Sept. 11, vandals attempted to destroy the community icon by toppling it from its base. On Wednesday, Oct. 9, Tad Perry, Reese Alexander, Ike Creddock and Adolph Huizar repositioned the limestone sculpture.
