The Bandera Country River Authority and Groundwater District (BCRAGD) has completed a dual completion monitor well on its property at 440 FM 3240. The BCRAGD board of directors approved the well at their May meeting. The well will tap into two levels of the Middle Trinity - the Lower Glen Rose and Cow Creek. BCRAGD General Manager Dave Mauk plans to use the well to determine if there is any communication between the two aquifers as well as to keep tabs on their water levels. He aims to post the data the river authority collects from the well on the district's website with real time information. Aquatech Drilling, Inc. of Bandera drilled the well.
