Staffers from the Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District measured the mud cracks at Medina Lake last week. This one measured almost two feet in depth. In some areas, it's estimated the cracks go down to three feet. Let this picture serve as a reminder to be very careful of water usage as this drought continues. All of Bandera County remains in severe drought conditions, placing everyone under mandatory water conservation measures.
