Optimists name students of the month
Bandera High School Senior Ian Taulli was honored by the Bandera Optimist Club as a Student of the Month for April. Ian is planning on attending Schreiner University in the fall and plans to intern this summer with a San Antonio engineering firm. Ian has participated in debate, UIL academics, soccer and one act play as well as being a part of the Texas Hill Country Chapter of Demolay in Boerne. Ian is the son of Michael Taulli of Pipe Creek.
BHS Senior Fabian Muniz has been selected as Optimist Club Student of the Month for March. Fabian has played football for Bandera High School and is considering attending Texas Lutheran University in Sequin in the fall to study criminal justice in preparation for entering the San Antonio Police Academy at a later date. Fabian is the son of Juanita Lopez of Lakehills.
BHS Senior Emily Campbell was selected as Student of the Month for April. Emily has participated in golf and Key Club while at Bandera High School as well as having volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club and her church. She is planning to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio in the fall to pursue a nursing degree and is interested in using that degree to serve in an international medical missionary organization like Doctors Without Borders. Emily is the daughter of Lesa Campbell and Malcolm Campbell of Bandera.
