Towers announces CHL class in April

Mike Towers will present a concealed handgun licensing class, beginning at 8:30 am, Saturday, April 13, in the classroom on the lower level of the Bandera Library. The cost of this all-day class is $100 per person, which includes time on the firing range. Recertification is $50 for half day.
Students are asked to bring paper and pencil, but to leave firearms in their vehicles. "Mike would appreciate it if you could let him know you are coming, but it's not necessary," said Evelyn Synder, secretary of Ranchers and Landowners of Texas. "It will just help him be sure the room is large enough and know how many gun instructors to have available."
Those planning to attend the class can contact Towers at 830-510-6600 or mtowers@towersranch.com.
Towers, a retired Bexar County peace officer, holds both a Master Peace Officers License and Advanced Instructor and Firearms Instructor Proficiency certification from TCLEOSE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement officer Standards and Enforcement). All proceeds from the class are earmarked for the Bandera County 4-H Rifle Club. Towers is also accepting donations for ammunition for the 4-H Rifle Club.
