Comfort celebrates centennial

The Comfort Volunteer Fire Department invites the public to their 100th anniversary celebration from 11 am until 3 pm, Saturday, Oct. 14, at the firehouse.

Displays will include antique and modern fire fighting equipment along with pictures of past and present fire department members. The Capitol City Highlanders will entertain.
A special ceremony, beginning at 12:30 pm, will feature Texas District 73 State Representative Doug Miller, and a demonstration of extrication equipment.
