KG & The Ranger bring Wild West to Ranch Heritage Day
Remember how Roy Rogers and Gene Autry blazed across the Silver Screen, and always ended every movie with a song? KG & The Ranger's award-winning show keeps those heroes - and their music - alive!
KG & The Ranger will perform at 1 pm, during Ranch Heritage Day Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Hill Country State Natural Area, 10600 Bandera Creek Road. The free family fun starts at 11 am at the Group Lodge at the Hill Country State Natural Area.
Activities throughout the day will include ranch activities and demonstrations.
KG & The Ranger take audiences on a lighthearted, humorous and toe-tapping musical journey way out west. They yodel in harmony, spin a lariat and bring a fresh new sound to classic cowboy songs.
This multitalented husband and wife duo have brought the Old West to their Midwest home in Wisconsin since 1989. They have appeared at national cowboy events from California to Florida. Selected three times as "Harmony Yodeling Champions" by the Western Music Association in 2005, 2002 and 1999, they have also won numerous other awards for their showmanship and fantastic harmony singing.
For those with fond memories of cowboy movie stars, or who just like to daydream about the wide-open spaces and riding off into the sunset, this show is not to be missed! Audiences of all ages are guaranteed a good time.
