Early voting for the November General Election will begin Monday, Oct. 22, for registered voters in Bandera County.
County Elections Administrator Toba Perez-Wright has arranged for voters to cast their ballots at three convenient locations:
• The Ray Mauer Annex, 403 12th Street, Bandera
• The Lakehills Annex, 9155 FM 1283, Lakehills
• The Medina Annex, 161 Parker, Medina.
Hours for early voting will be from 7:30am to 5:30 pm each week day. For the convenience of commuters, the polls at the Ray Mauer Annex only will be open from 7 am to 7 pm on the first day of early voting, Oct. 22, and the last day of early voting, Friday, Nov. 2.
Voters are urged to remember that the national and state races are not the only ones on the ballot.
Since the Texas Legislature allowed many governmental entities to change their election dates from May to November, local ballots will include races for Bandera City Council and mayor, and Bandera ISD board members, among others.
Perez-Wright advises voters to be sure to scroll through the entire ballot before hitting the "cast ballot" button.
