• The Medina Lake VFD will serve up hot dogs for National Night Out, Tuesday, Oct. 2, beginning at 7 pm at the firehouse on FM 1283.

Come out and meet your neighbors and law enforcement officers. There will be an air castle for the kids.

• The City of Bandera will host its annual health fair on Wednesday, Oct. 17, with free flu shots and plenty of exhibits with helpful health information.
