IIII-AAAA-EEEE - it's Cajun Fest

For something completely different this weekend pass some time at the 32nd annual Medina Lake Cajun Festival and "Great Gumbo Cook-Off" at the Lakehills Civic Center, 11225 Park Road 37.

Gates open at 11 am, Saturday, Sept. 22, and the homemade spicy fare, straight from the Louisiana bayous; Cajun and zydeco music; nonstop dancing; and Acadia magic keeps on keeping on until 10 pm.

Admission is $10 with children ages 10 years and under admitted free.
