The Bandera County Republican Women will host Republican candidates for the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals during the monthly meeting, beginning at 11:30 am, Friday, Sept. 14, at the Silver Sage Community Center, 803 Buck Creek Boulevard.

"This BCRW meeting should be great and one you definitely do not want to miss!" said President Kerry Schneider.

Guests will include the five incumbent Republican justices on the ballot during the Tuesday, Nov. 6 General Election - Justice Karen Angelini, Justice Phylis Speedin, Justice Rebecca Simmons, Justice Steve Hilbig and Justice Marialyn Barnard.

They will give a joint overview of the court, with each justice covering a different topic, including the different types of courts and types of cases heard at the appellate level. Cases involving water law and property issues will also be covered.

After the meeting and luncheon from 11:30 am until 1 pm, participants in the "progressive meeting" will celebrate the grand opening of the Republican Satellite Campaign Headquarters, 3540 Highway 16 South, Suite 2-C, Bandera Landing. Dessert will be served at the grand opening, which will take place from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm.

The main headquarters of the Bandera County Republican Party is located at 1207-B on Cottonwood Street.

"We are so honored to have this distinguished justices at our September meeting," Schneider said. "We urge everyone to attend this important and informational event."
