Cousin Nancy of the Utopia Animal Rescue Ranch perfectly described recent arrival, Marianne Faithful, as a "wannabe chocolate Lab."

This 4-year-old big boned gal might not have all her AKC papers in order but everyone at the ranch rescue just loves her!

"Marianne's a very sweet and extremely smart Lab mix who's already stolen our hearts," Nance said. And, who could resist that wonderful, goofy smile?

According to Cousin Nancy, Marianne Faithful is waiting to be someone's faithful companion - preferably someone with kids.

Like others of her breed, she would make an excellent family dog.
