Bandera County Sheriff's Deputy Michael Wedgworth and an employee of Salinas Construction survey the damage following a motorgrader roll-over Wednesday, July 18.
At around 11 am the motorgrader began to slide while working on a steep slope at the 700 block of Highway 16 South across from Bandera Lodge in Bandera.
Witnesses said the driver appeared to have been making a cut at the top of the slope when the big machine began to slide downhill before tipping over.
The operator was not injured.
The work was part of the on-going repairs and construction by Salinas Construction Company on 16 coming in to Bandera.
