Schreiner to host master of education open house
Schreiner University's Department of Education will host an open house for people interested in its Master of Education and Principal Certification programs from 4:30-6 pm, Wednesday, August 1, at Alumni House on the University campus.
Dr. Neva V. Cramer, director of Graduate Studies & Teacher Education at Schreiner, said that the open house will be an opportunity for people to meet the graduate program professors and get information about the three-semester hybrid Master of Education program and the one-semester principal certification.
The master's program is mostly online, with classes on campus one Saturday a month during the regular school year and every Saturday in June. The principal certification program is 100 percent online and is SACS approved. It includes the state Instructional Leadership Development and the Professional Development and Appraisal System.
