Bandera's July 4th Pet Parade

Kayleigh Ellis and German Shepherd Dylan of Bandera won Best of Show in the annual CCPAL Pet Parade.

Avery Blalock, 6, of Tapatio Springs, brought Corgi Pearl to the 16th annual Fourth of July Pet Parade, sponsored by the Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League.

Cordera Torres and Scruffles - aka Annie Barkley - and Bella Torres and Harry - aka Ruffalo Bill - placed second in the Best of the West category.

Fraulein, a German short-haired pointer, and her friend, Travis Parker, traveled from Houston for the pet parade.

A rescued stray, Fitzwilliam, a Jack Russell, is now on the gravy train, said Debi Arney and her nephew, Bryce.

Brianna Barclay of Castroville, along with Sheriff Bud D. and inmate Zac the Cat, won the Most Creative ribbon at the pet parade on Wednesday, July 4.
