Well, by the looks of this blessedly short arrest report, it appears Crime Took a Holiday in Bandera County this past week. Well, at last ...
Tuesday, June 19:
Despite being arrested for felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a Pipe Creep spent but a few scant hours in the slammer for his misdeed.
Thursday, June 21:
A Kerr-vert remains confined to the county calaboose for misdemeanor warrants that include one that may revoke his parole and another that insinuates he had failed to follow the suggestions of a previous court.
An 18-year-old maid from the Creek District was picked up for pot possession.
A Bandera Blockhead, who, at the ripe age of 51 is old enough to know better, but apparently doesn't, was confined for an overnight stay in the county can for criminal trespass.
Saturday, June 23:
A Lakehills Lush was nabbed for his first DWI.
Sunday, June 24:
Ditto, but this Bandera Boozer was charged with a felony third DWI.
In addition to these arrests during the week of Monday, June 18, through Sunday, June 24, local law enforcement also took care of three major and three minor vehicular accidents; eight fisticuffs, disturbances, domestic disputes and loud parties; five burglaries and three thefts; one report of fraud; 23 calls regarding our four-legged friends; two shots ringing out; one mental commitment; 14 calls for suspicious persons, vehicles and circumstances; and nine reports of reckless driving.
