Wildlife Management produces better land stewards


The Bandera County Board of REALTORS® (BCBoR) is offering a Wildlife Management educational course that is also open to the public.

Taught by Gregg Collum - aka "The Texas Wildlife Guy" - the course will be held from 8 am to noon, Tuesday, June 12, at the headquarters of the Bandera Electric Cooperative (BEC), 3172 Highway 16 North, in Bandera.

Advanced cost is $55 or $65 at the door on the day of the course if space is available. Rural property owners and professionals are encouraged to attend. In addition, licensed real estate practitioners can earn four hours of continuing education credits, as well.

This Wildlife Management course provides an excellent overview that will assist sales professionals access the rural marketplace as well as helping Texas landowners understand appropriate wildlife management practices.

Other course objectives include providing an understanding of land and resource protection through proper management implementation and reviewing the correct way to establish an Agricultural Valuation on land. Property owners will gain a better understanding of rural valuation practices and necessary appraisal district paperwork requirements, as well.
