RLAT hosts Clay Target Competition


Members of the Ranchers and Landowners Association of Texas will hold their fourth annual Clay Target Competition fundraiser from 8 am until 5 pm, Saturday, May 5, at the Bandera Gun Club, 809 FM 1077.

Proceeds from this all-day event support the Bandera County Junior Livestock Show and the RLAT college scholarship fund.

The overall first place winner will receive a Verona over-under 20/28 gauge shotgun with case and accessories. Skeet and Trap champions will receive a Remington Model 870 Pump, 12-gauge shotgun.

There will also be second and third place prizes for both competitions, as well as first, second and third place prizes for three "Lewis Classes."

Entry fee is $100 for the one-day competition. Additionally, a limited number of sponsors for student shooters are still available.

Refreshments will be served throughout the day.
