Announcement

The Medina Lake Preservation Society (MLPS) will host a Medina Lake Dam Centennial Poster Art Exhibit and Sweets Reception at the Lakehills Library, 7200 FM 1283 in Lakehills on Saturday, March 31 from noon until 2 pm.

Last year, the MLPS held a poster contest in order to select an official artwork to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the completion of Medina Lake Dam.

The entry of Emilee Mason, a Bandera Middle School art student was selected as the grand prize winner.

Mason will sign and number no more than 100 of her posters and will be on hand at the library during the reception. The first place and honorable mention winning posters will be exhibited (from both the Bandera ISD and Medina Valley ISD) along with a selection of other poster entries.

The limited edition, signed and numbered Medina Lake Dam Official Centennial posters are destined to become a collector's item and will be on sale for $25 each.

Unsigned/numbered posters will also be available for $10 and all proceeds benefit the MLPS Medina Lake Dam Centennial Celebration set for August 25.
