Equitherapy center schedules benefit in SA


Triple H Equitherapy Center will hold the fourth annual benefit dinner and silent auction, beginning at

WHEN, Saturday, May 26, at Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio.

According to Executive Director Loida Molloy, this year's event, themed "The Magic of Horses" will help raise funds to provide therapeutic riding and equine-assisted activities for children and adults with disabilities, at-risk youth and wounded warriors.

KSAT 12 News Anchor Ursula Pari will again emcee the benefit dinner, which will offer a program highlighting Triple H's unique service and the importance of community partnerships in service to those with special needs. The evening will include presentation of Volunteer, Equestrian and Horse of the Year awards.

Event sponsors and donors of items for the silent auction currently are being sought for this benefit.

Tickets for the event are $125 per person and a sponsored table of eight is $1,000.

Reservations must be made by April 1.

A nonprofit, charitable organization, Triple H serves Bandera, Bexar, Kendall, Kerr and Medina counties. Located near Pipe Creek, Triple H is the only nonprofit center in the greater San Antonio area to be fully accredited by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International (PATH, Int'l). It is one of only about 200 PATH, Int'l designated premier therapeutic riding centers in the country.
