$10K cash reward offered for Mexican mafia member

A fugitive last seen in Goliad has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive list, and a $10,000 reward is now being offered for tips leading to his arrest.

Anthony Gonzales, 38, is a native of Corpus Christi with a violent criminal past and pending warrants for murder, engaging in organized criminal activity and aggravated assault. On July 25, 2008, Gonzales and nine gang associates were involved in a shooting at a residence in Corpus Christi resulting in the death of one adult and the injury of two children. All of the suspects have been captured except for Gonzales.

His aliases include "Ghost" and his past employment includes upholstery work. He has multiple tattoos, including "Lil Laura" on his left finger and multiple tattoos across the base of his neck and upper chest.

Texas Crime Stoppers, through the Governor's Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders,

Those with information can provide anonymous tips by:

• Calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).

• Texting the letters DPS - followed by the tip - to 274637 (CRIMES) from a cell phone.

• Submitting a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the pertinent fugitive, and then clicking on the link under their picture.
All calls, texts or e-mails are anonymous, and tipsters will be given a tip number. All tips can be offered anonymously.

Citizens are reminded not to attempt to apprehend these fugitives themselves; the fugitives are considered armed and dangerous.
