BCSO recognizes Employees of Year for 2011

Three members of the Bandera County Sheriff's Office were designated as "Employee of the Year" for 2011.

The awards took place during a regular meeting of the BCSO on Thursday, Feb. 2.

Deputy Mike Wedgworth of the Law Enforcement Patrol Division, dispatcher Amber Chupp of the Communications Division and Carol Sanders, RN, of the Jail Division were honored for their dedication not only to the sheriff's office, but also to the citizens of Bandera County.

"We were very pleased to be able recognize the contributions of these valued employees. Their proficiency and dedication to their respective jobs will enable the Bandera County Sheriff's Office CSO to improve service to the citizens of this county," said Chief Deputy Richard Smith during the informal awards ceremony. He continued, "Excellence is a minimum standard at the sheriff's office and these employees are just a few examples of the outstanding staff that comprises our team."

In addition, Investigator Cherie Green was given a Certificate of Appreciation for her devotion and expertise in conducting criminal investigations for the Sheriff's Office.
