FHA Ag Mechanics win Sweepstakes Award

The FFA Ag Mechanics Team recently competed at the first annual Hill Country District Ag Mechanics Show in Kerrville against 42 entries in various divisions. Cody Mayfield’s electric lamb walker won first place in his division and Grand Champion Overall of the show. Mayfield was also designated as Grand Champion Showman. Chase Babbitt’s tower deer blind was Reserve Champion Showman. Dusty Drouin won the Trailer Division with a 5-foot by 8-foot trailer she built in the Ag Shop. Each winner received awesome prize packages for placing in the show. In addition, Bandera FFA Ag Mechanics team members were called to the sale ring to receive the Sweepstakes Award, given to the team with the highest points overall in the competition.
