Farm Bureau

Four voting delegates from the Bandera County Farm Bureau recently participated in the 77th annual Texas Farm Bureau convention in Waco in December. Those attending included, from left, Secretary-Treasurer Bonnie Naumann, President Barbara Mazurek, Director Anton Haner and his wife, Marilyn Haner. More than 1,500 delegates from 147 organized Farm Bureaus adopted policies directing the states largest farm organization. Approved recommendations on national policies will advance to the American Farm Bureau Federation annual meeting to be held in January in Atlanta, Georgia.
Addressing the delegates were TFB President Kenneth Dierschke of San Angelo, and Executive Director Vernie Glasson. The business session covered the final day of the meeting. Dierschke was elected president as the last order of business.
