Judge to speak at RLAT meeting

The next meeting of Ranchers and Landowners of Texas will take place at 7 pm, Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the Bandera Electric Cooperative Community Room, 3172 Highway 16 North. Those attending are asked to use the right-hand sliding door located in front of the building.
Speaker for the January meeting is Bandera County Judge Richard Evans, who will give his annual State of the County address. Evans will also share his concerns and vision for the county in 2015. "This address is given only at our RLAT meeting so come hear him here - and bring a guest!" said an RLAT spokesman.
Election for 2015 Board of Directors will also be held. Because the number of board members has been reduced from 15 to nine, there is only one opening. Nominations will be accepted from the floor. Following the meeting, the new and continuing board members will elect officers for the year.
Members can also bring their 2015 dues at this meeting. Dues are $25 for individual, $45 for couples, $50 for business, $250 for lifetime. Stickers for the members' "No Trespassing" signs with telephone numbers for the Bandera, Kerr and Kendall county sheriff's offices are also available.
