RLAT announces highway cleanup

Members of the Ranchers and Landowners Association of Texas (RLAT) will participate in a second highway cleanup, beginning at 8 am, Saturday, July 19. Cathy Spinks is spearheading the activity.
Participants will meet approximately two miles north of Bandera on Lower Mason Creek Loop, just north of the cleanup sign closest to Bandera on Highway 173 North.
The Texas Department of Transportation will provide
Bags and vests, among other items and RLAT will supply a few "garbage clutchers" to ease back strain - hopefully. In addition, cold water will be provided.
"There should be a lot less garbage this time since our initial highway cleanup the first week of April," Spinks assured participants. "If anyone wants to assist, come on by and join us before the sun gets too high.
