New Farm Bill topic of HC Sheep & Goat


The June meeting of the Hill Country Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association will feature Wayne Seipp, district conservationist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
He will speak about the new Farm Bill, as well as introduce members to programs offered by the NRCS to rural landowners.
The auxiliary will meet at 9:30 am, Monday, June 2, at the Cave Creek Lutheran Church Social Hall, a quaint church located in the middle of farm and ranch country at 9732 Ranch Road 1631.
Scholarship recipients will be announced during the meeting. The auxiliary will also approve updated by-laws. Dues are due at this meeting and members are reminded to bring completed membership form. Forms will be available at the meeting for new members.
A gourmet catered picnic lunch for $15 will follow the meeting. To make reservations, call your designated contact person or Suzy Stewart at 830-669-2204. Guests are always welcome.
