Bandera 4-H Rifle Team members who competed in the district competition recently included Rachel Barker, Jacob Haas, Garrett Cielencki, Coach Mile Towers, Mason Musick, Jacob Cameron and Kylie Musick.

On April 12 the Bandera County 4-H Rifle Club and a good crowd of family and friends made the trip to Floresville and the Wilson County Show Barns to compete in the 4-H District Small Bore Rifle Competition. Coach Mike Towers took six shooters this year from the club.
Rachel Barker shot in the Senior Division which involved three shooting positions, prone, kneeling and standing.
Jacob Cameron, Mason Musick, and Kylie Musick shot in the Junior Intermediate Division in the prone and kneeling positions.
Garrett Cielencki and Jacob Haas shot in the Junior Division from the prone shooting position.
"The team had a great time meeting the other small bore rifle clubs from our district and had a great time competing against the other shooters from our area," said a spokesman for the squad.
