Management workshop for sheep & goats on tap

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Agriculture and Natural Resource Committee will be hosting a sheep and goat management workshop on Thursday, May 22, from 6-8:30 pm at the Bandera United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The Fellowship Hall is located at 1103 Cedar Street.
"This is sure to be an informative program with something for everyone regardless of flock size or experience level" said Sam Womble, Bandera County Extension Agent. This will be a program you won't want to miss.
Topics include:
• Industry update: how we got here and where we are headed, by Dr. Rick Machen, Extension Livestock Specialist, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service
• Marketing options by Dr. Rick Machen, Extension Livestock Specialist
• Health and reproductive considerations by Dr. Conrad Nightingale, Hill Country Veterinary Hospital.
The program will be worth one half hour of IPM CEU credit for individuals with a Pesticide Applicators License. Cost is $15/person which includes a meal and program materials.
