Fruit tree workshop

Bandera County Extension Service will host a fruit tree management workshop on Tuesday, May 6 at Love Creek Apple Orchard in Medina. The workshop runs from 10 am to noon.
Among the topics to be discussed are planting and establishment of fruit trees, training and pruning your trees, insect and disease control, and grafting.
Registration is $20 per person, which includes lunch. A 1-hour IPM CEU credit will be offered.
Attendees must pre-register by May 1 by calling the Bandera County Extension Office at 830-796-7755.
"Be sure to bring a lawn chair and enjoy a great program," said County Extension Agent Sam Womble.
