Art for home-schooled students at Majestic

Beginning, Monday, Dec. 1, The Majestic Ranch Arts Foundation on Highway 46 East is offering a new “hands on” art program developed specifically for home-schooled students.
The program provides quality, experiential art education that allows students to experience an exciting variety of art mediums such as drawing, painting, ceramics, and digital imaging, Classes are taught in professional studios by professional instructors.
Over a four-month period, each student can receive art credit, while developing the basic design principles of line, shape, form, texture, value and composition in all areas offered. A new session of classes and workshops begins Jan. 20.
“This may be the first opportunity the children have to be exposed to art education,” noted program Chairman Stevie Ricks. “We are thrilled with the chance to teach the students with such a variety of art techniques.”
A nonprofit art school on Highway 46 in Boerne, The Majestic Ranch Arts Foundation is committed to art education and being a resource to all members of the community, offering classes and programs for children, teens and adults.
The foundation offers classes such as ceramics, stone sculpture, woodworking, painting, fiber arts, drawing, watercolor, digital photography, children’s programs, blacksmithing and welding, among others.
