The public can now buy tickets to win one of three unique $2,500 prizes offered by the Gillespie County Historical Society – a new motor scooter from Scootique, VISA gift card or a custom painted gun.

Tickets are being sold in conjunction with Preservation Weekend, the society’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The events include the Tannenbaum Ball on Friday evening, Dec 11, the Holiday Home Tour on from noon to 6 pm, Saturday, Dec 12, and the Candlelight Tour from 5:30 pm to 8 pm, Saturday evening, Dec 12.

The winner’s name will be drawn the night of the Tannenbaum Ball, Friday, Dec. 11. The winner will choose one of three prizes, each a $2,500 value:

As a bonus, the winner will get a free $500 accessory pack, including windshield, chrome, scooter cover and top case.

• Baretta 391 shotgun from Smith Guns - the Baretta 391 shotgun is considered one of the finest autoloaders built by Beretta. The gun has been donated by Jess and Connie Smith, owners of Smith Guns of San Angelo. As a bonus, the gun will be custom painted for the winner by Johnny Maldonado Air Brush of Midland.
