Meet new watercolor artist at Majestic Ranch

Contributed

Administrators with Kendall County’s Majestic Ranch Arts Foundation will introduce new watercolor instructor Nancy Graham to the community from 4 pm until 6 pm, Saturday, August 8.
A reception and a “meet & greet” the artist will take place in the studio at Majestic Ranch. Additionally, Graham will offer a short demonstration of her work.

A recognized and multi-faceted artist, Graham’s paintings demonstrate a remarkable attention to detail, excitement and an outstanding technical ability. The subjects she paints range from photo-realistic images of classic cars and hotrods to cowboys, horses and ranch life.

The life size “Day of the Dead” cow she painted for the “San Antonio Cow Parade” served as a stepping-off point for a series of paintings and fabric pieces celebrating the well-known Mexican day of remembrance.

As a professional artist, Graham has had numerous solo and group shows, and has been represented by galleries throughout the country, including Louisiana; Carmel, California, Scottsdale, Arizona; Sante Fe, New Mexico; and Boca Raton, Florida, as well as Houston and Dallas.

Fall classes at Majestic Ranch begin Sept. 14.
The 525-acre nonprofit art school is located on the highest point between Bandera and Boerne on Highway 46. It is nonprofit dedicated to promoting the arts and providing art education in the Texas Hill Country.
