BHS Class of 1958 Reunion
Contributed
Members and spouses of Bandera High School’s 1958 graduating class held a class reunion last year in October.
The former students met at the old Bandera High School on Friday, Oct. 10, for a tailgate party before attending the homecoming football game.
On Saturday, Oct. 11, everyone was up early for a picture-taking session and tour of the old high school building, now Bandera Middle School. Following that tour, the class enjoyed a luncheon at the Flying L Ranch.
Guests who attended the festivities included Coach John C. Waldrum and his daughter, Sandra, and Dorothy Madden, mother of Frank Lucas.
A spokesperson remarked, “Everyone had a grand time sharing remembrances of the ‘good ole days’.”
In addition, the class held a special candlelight service to honor deceased members of the class – Mike Carter, Alma Kalka Junke, Tony Conwill, Wendall Langford, Don Day, Newt Swell, Charles Johnston and Robert Faurie.
