Nature Conservancy presentation, Sept. 14

Contributed

Love Creek Preserve, located in western Bandera County, has been owned and managed by The Nature Conservancy of Texas since early 2000. Dramatic canyons carved by spring-fed streams bisect the property, offering a rugged landscape filled with beautiful vistas. At just over 2,500 acres, the preserve is home to many rare and endangered birds, plants and aquatic species. Rebecca Neill, The Nature Conservancy’s Southern Hill Country Project Director, will provide a brief overview of the history and significance of the preserve, as well as ongoing management activities, plans for the future, and ways you can get involved at 5:30 pm, Thursday, Sept. 14, in the lower level meeting room at the Bandera County Library.
