• Wild Game Dinner 4-7pm, 30th Annual fundraiser at Grace Lutheran Church, 451 St Hwy 173 N, Bandera. Wild game dinner featuring venison prepared many different ways from chili to gumbo to sliders with other game entrees. Gun raffle tickets will be $5 each. 10 different types of guns will be raffled off. There will also be a silent auction. Adults (12 & up) $10; Children (3-11) $5; Under 3 Free. A portion of the proceeds goes to provide a scholarship for a worthy Bandera County High School senior. Tickets are available from Grace Lutheran Church members or at the church office or at the door. Dine in or carry out. Desserts for sale by the Youth of Grace Lutheran.

• Birds of a Feather, 8:30am. Hill Country State Natural Area, 10600 Bandera Creek Road, Bandera. Meet other "birding buddies" and spot our fine feathered friends as they stay or migrate to and from the hill country. Beginners or experienced birders welcome! Come early to register. Come to learn or to teach. Bring binoculars, birding guides, creature comforts such as comfy-sturdy shoes, hats, layered clothing, and water. Plan on a two hour guided walk and then bring a picnic and stay for as long as you like. • Alkek PTO 1st Annual My School Color Run 9am-3pm. Bandera City Park, 1102 Maple St, Bandera. Untimed fun run/walk, open top everyone, featuring a 5K course and 10K course. Throughout the courses, participants will experience color splash zones where they'll be doused in color and end with a final color toss celebration! Check in starts at 9am, 10K Run Start Times are 10:15am & 10:30am, 5K Run Start Times are 11:15am & 11:30am. Register Early! Registration includes a race bib, color packet, and t-shirt only if you sign up before 2/11/17. You can pick up your items at the registration table the day of the event. Paper registration forms are available upon request. Please be sure to register by 2/11/17 to guarantee that you'll receive a race bib, color packet and t-shirt!
