Updates from the Cowboy Capitol Chamber of Commerce

BCCC

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy and Prosperous New Year! We hope to make 2017 the best year ever.
While Hunters BBQ was just a month ago, we are already in the planning stages for next year and we could really use your help. We have developed a survey so we can get your valuable feedback to help us improve the event for 2017 and future years. Please take the time to visit our website, www.banderatex.com, or our face book page and click on the Hunters BBQ Survey. Thank you in advance for all of your input. We hope you will plan on joining us next year for the 55th Annual Hunters BBQ.
Our new Board of Directors will be in place on January 1st and includes President Jaki Perkins, Vice President Brick Gibson, Treasurer Laura Cameron and Directors Philip Acton, Kyle Bond, Brian Brockel, Lia Cloudt, Javier Gonzales, Kirby Jones, and Jill Moore. We will have our annual awards ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 26. We hope you will join us. You can make reservations by calling the Chamber office at 830-796-3280 or visiting our web site. The event is free for members and $15 for nonmembers and will be at the 1856 Tavern from 5:30-8 pm. Entertainment will be provided by the Almost Patsy Cline Trio. Please send us your nominations for the following awards by January 9th:
• “The Cowboy Capital Award is given to the individual or group who has made an outstanding contribution to Bandera’s image as the ‘Cowboy Capital of the World.”
• The Citizen of the Year is the individual, couple or group who has contributed extraordinary time, effort and assistance in enhancing the quality of life for citizens of Bandera County.
• The Business Community Service Award goes to a business that has contributed extraordinary time, effort and/or financial assistance to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Bandera County.
