Gino & Carrie - a Valentine tale

Exclusive to the Courier

“Gino R. Tree and Carrie Oakie are quite a pair
You see them together everywhere.”

Gino R. Tree hails from Lodgepole Country in Montano. He met Miss Carrie in Colorado, but, like her significant other, she quickly became a true Texan.

When asked how long they’ve been in love, the couple gaze into each other’s eyes and respond, “As far back as we can remember.”

The road to happiness hasn’t been easy for them, however, as they have very different backgrounds. In fact, it’s abundantly apparent both spring from a separate family tree.

While Gino is descended from a long limb of fine stock, Carrie’s ancestors started as part of an old oak. Needless to say, their families haven’t always blended.

Additionally, after initially meeting, they soon found themselves sawn asunder. During a painful separation in their younger days, the two lovebirds wood actually pine for one another.

But, finally, like a chip off the old block, Gino convinced Carrie to leave her native state. The little pair bravely set off to boldly go where no puppet had ever gone before.

Branching out on their own, Gino and Carrie ended up in Bandera County, where they quickly put down new roots and hope they wood live happily ever after.

Now you have the rest of the story.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
