Cowboy Swap Meet & Horseless Rodeo

The folks at the Ridin' the River Cowboy Fellowship will host a Farm & Ranch Cowboy Swap Meet and Horseless Ranch Rodeo at Mansfield Park on Saturday, Jan. 31.
The swap meet will take place from 10 am to 2 pm. Fees for trade are $5 per person, tack and hand equipment; $2 each small animal, including rabbits, chickens, kittens and puppies, among others; $5 each for large animal and equipment, including goats, cows, horses, trailers and tractors, among others.
Some pens will be available for large animals. To be consigned, all equines must have a negative Coggins. There will be no exceptions.
Vendor spaces are $15 each and include electricity. No animals will be allowed in vendor spaces. Additionally, vendors must supply their own tables, chairs and cages.
All sales will be by private treaty and all items are subject to refusal by RRCF Arena Team Leaders. The church is not responsible for theft, loss, damages or injury.

Books for the Horseless Ranch Rodeo open at 2 pm with the arena action starting at 3 pm.
There will be a maximum of 12 teams and three entries per person. Cost is $25 per competitor in four-man teams. There will be a 100 percent payout. New events include penning, yoking, tying, branding and loading.
There will also be events for wranglers ages seven years and under and ages eight to 14 years. For three-man teams, entry is $10 per kid. Parents are urged to pre-enter their kids to allow rodeo administrators to have sufficient stock for the appropriate ages.
