Carlyle signing fourth novel

Local award-winning author Doug Carlyle of Tarpley will launch his fourth novel titled "Death by Times New Roman" on Saturday, Sept. 6. A release party will be held at The Dogleg Coffeehouse in Bandera from 10 am until closing that day. He will be available to sign copies of all of his books.
This latest novel is the debut of his Cat Kavanagh Mystery Series. In this story, FBI Special Agent Cat Kavanagh is trailing a vicious serial killer who stabbed each of his victims. It is more than coincidental that every time author Bradley R. Woodbury publishes another best-selling novel, police find a woman dead, always in the same quiet town the author had chosen as the setting for his book.
A decorated former Army Captain, Kavanagh is tough, cunning and beautiful. Now, she is the bait for Woodbury's final novel. Will she find the killer before she, too, suffers Death by Times New Roman?
Subsequent books in this series, "Death by the Byte" and "Death by the Stitch" will follow.
You can often find Carlyle with his laptop sitting quietly in a corner at his favorite haunt, The Dogleg Coffeehouse. He's always ready to talk about any of his books.
