Estate planning at Silver Sage

By Amy Hawley BCC Contributor

The Silver Sage Community Center, 803 Buck Creek Boulevard, will sponsor a free seminar on living trusts from 5:45 pm until 7:30 pm, Wednesday, July 16.
During the session, presenters will detail the distinction between a trust and a will and offer invaluable information about estate planning. They will also discuss resources that can help put in place easy and affordable plans for spouses, children and other beneficiaries.
Participants will learn how to minimize the burden on families, avoid probate and minimize capital gains taxes. Another focus of the seminar will be steps necessary to preserve a legacy and safeguard families from extra legal burdens.
The knowledgeable presenters will cut through "legalese" and give information in clear, everyday language, communicating easily what is often difficult to understand. Their priority is dispelling common misconceptions about trusts and estate planning.
